His Grace Bishop David

His Grace Bishop David is the Diocesan Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of New York & New England. He was ordained as a General Bishop by His Holiness Pope Shenouda III of thrice-blessed memory, and appointed as the Patriarchal Exarch at the Archdiocese of North America in Cedar Grove, New Jersey in 1999. Bishop David has earned two master’s degrees: one in Pastoral Counseling from Fordham University, and another in Theological Studies from Holy Cross School of Theology. He has represented the Coptic Orthodox Church in various conferences, including the World Council of Churches Assembly in South Korea in October 2013. On November 16-17, 2013, Pope Tawadros II and the Holy Synod consecrated him as the first Shepherd and Diocesan Bishop of the newly formed Coptic Orthodox Diocese of New York and New England.

Fr. George Dragas, Phd.

Fr. George Dragas is a renowned theologian and priest of the Greek Orthodox Church, specializing in Patristics and the theology of the early Church. A professor emeritus at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, he has extensively studied and written on the Church Fathers, including their role in the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea (325 AD). His scholarship provides deep insights into Nicene theology and its significance for Orthodox Christianity today.

Mr. Stephen J. Davis

Stephen J. Davis is a scholar of early Christianity and a professor at Yale University, specializing in the history of Christian communities, texts, and traditions. His research explores the development of Christian doctrine, including the impact of the First Council of Nicaea (325 AD) on Christological debates. Through his writings, he provides valuable insights into how Nicene theology shaped Christian thought and practice
